Matina-Christina is a Managing Consultant at FenwayXⁿ and a Chartered Civil/Geotechnical Engineer.  Matina has six years of experience in onshore and nine years of experience in offshore engineering.  Matina’s technical knowledge is supported by a degree in Civil Engineering and master’s degrees in Soil Mechanics& Environmental Geotechnics and in Construction Law & Dispute Resolution. 

Matina-Christina combines design and site experience with a strong understanding of the contractual and commercial aspects of engineering projects.

Matina has worked both as a Design Engineer and Site Engineer on residential and infrastructure projects across the UK, Ireland and West Asia.  Matina’s onshore experience includes foundation and retaining wall design for residential and commercial developments, temporary works and metro stations design and Network Rail upgrade schemes. Matina has also undertaken site engineering responsibilities for the installation of large-diameter geothermal piles on a major embassy development project, gaining valuable construction experience.

Matina has worked as a Geotechnical Engineer within both Client and Contractor organisations on offshore development across the UK, Europe, America and Africa.  Matina’s technical experience includes marine site investigations, offshore foundation design, installation analysis, cable burial assessments, pile micro-siting for large-scale offshore wind projects. In addition, to her technical experience, Matina has developed strong commercial and project delivery capabilities through her role as a Geotechnics Tender Manager in the offshore industry.
