Austin Duffy is a Chartered Engineer with over 31 years’ experience in the planning, design, procurement, delivery and management of complex engineering and construction projects globally.
He has been instructed on numerous occasions as an independent expert on project management and construction management performance and negligence matters, and on programming, delay, disruption, and acceleration issues. He has submitted written evidence in conciliation, mediation, adjudication, litigation, and international arbitration proceedings and has testified, including the provision of concurrent evidence, in ICC, HKIAC, ICSID, UNCITRAL, SIAC, DIAC and LCIA arbitrations.
Austin is regularly retained by both private and public-sector clients to provide strategic development and project management advice, and programme management advisory services, on major capital investment programmes.
