Clara began her career with the Singapore government as a civil engineer and urban planner working on major infrastructure, commercial and residential developments before moving into consulting. Clara has advised on numerous high-value disputes and pre-dispute matters in sectors including rail, energy, water, aviation, and building projects. Her expertise spans arbitration, adjudication, and strategic advisory on large-scale, multi-billion-pound construction disputes, including some of the world’s most complex infrastructure schemes.
A Singapore government scholar, Clara earned an MEng with distinction in Civil Engineering from the University of Cambridge and an MSc in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution from King’s College London, where she received the Arbitration Club Philip Raner Prize and the Society of Construction Law prize. She is also a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a certified Project Management Professional®, and is fluent in both English and Mandarin.
